It sounds like fraud to me. In other word morally and legally it is wrong.

I know of a 65 Mustang 2+2 6 cyl. car that was converted to a V8 with all the GT options. It was done nicely and tastefully. I didn't have a problem with it until I found out that the owner aquired a title and windshield VIN plate from a A code 2+2. He didn't stop there he got a door plate stamped and even stamped a piece of sheet metal and had it welded to the left fender apron in it's proper location. It was a very impressive FAKE! I don't know what ever happened to the car or the owner.

I wish I would have made a note of the VIN.
