Check this out,went to get some new insurance on my 72 Grabber.They ran the VIN.They told me that my car was a "79" and it had a six cylinder.I told them they needed to check their info again cause its wrong!My car doesn't drive right now(burnt the clutch up driving around with a broken z-bar)but I gotta keep insurance on it to keep the tag so it's not a "junk" car.Otherwise I'd have to keep it somewhere or have it hualed off.So I couldn't drive to the office.I brought my TITLE in to show them AND a photo of the VIN tag and plaquard in the drivers door.They still told me it's a 79 with a six in it.Needless to say I didn't get any insurance from those morons.Anybody else have a problem like this?Who's a good company to go with?Arnie.BTW,I was previously with All State, didn't like their service either, and I know my car is an original Grabber w/factory 302,3-spd,A/C,and factory floor shifter.Body buck tag proves it too.Thanks.
