A friend of my was driving home on Thursday and the seat belt light and buzzer came on then went off. Smoke started coming out from under the dash the car would not shut off and the starter started spining. He had to disconnect the battery to get everything to stop. The part that burnt is loctated at the base of the steering colunm. the motorcraft part number on the box is D4AB 14A554 Can someone please tell me what this part is?
