12 sec 20mpg out of my mav??

hey, i dont know who out there reads hot rod magazine (i obviously do :) but the new (maybe new maybe not?) has 5 cars getting 20+mpg but still running the 1/4 in the 12's. anybody done this? i think that would be cool and it would be nicer on my wallet than filling it every block with gas.
