I figured that I may get someone to read this if I didn't make the subject "headers". Ha Ha...pretty tricky huh. Anyway, From what I gather headers are not possible on a automatic '76 Mav. V8 with a column shift and power steering. Correct? Ok, A bracket to move the power steering should fix that problem right? If I went to a floor shift automatic would that possibly make it so headers would fit? My brother says that it should. I was pondering turning it into a manual but I started thinking about how much I liked the chrome floor shifter in my ex-'74 mustang II. It was nothing special but it just did something for me. Call me crazy. Another thing. There is a Stallion running around town(Iowa City, IA)that I kinda like. It's not in perfect shape or anything(one front 1/4 of a non-matching color)but I am thinking of leaving a note on his car to see if he really wants to keep it. Who knows, depending on the condition it may be worth a trade for the one I got. It is a Iowa car though, that means lots of salt. Thanks for any info.
