we are putting a 66 289 in our 72 mav. the mav has the 250 in it now. will the engine bolt to it or do i need to change the bell housing? also what is the difference between a 6 or 8 cylinder trans.? the one we now have behind the 250 is fresh and each clutch pack held 5 frictions and 4 steels,isn't that as beefie as them came? another question....my mav has 4 lug wheels,does this mean it originally had a 170 or 200 in it or did 250's come 4 lug too? thanks for the responses in advance,you guys are great. thanks---george
