Ok, let's be serious. There have been these so called 7, 8, 9 second street cars; I find it kinda hard to believe that a 7 second car is street legal. How is this possible? I am also wondering what would be required if I wanted to make my Maverick a low 9 sec. car (street legal). New tube frame? Suspension, what kind? What kind of HP and torque am I going to need to be able to run 9's? Would 550 flywheel hp be enough? How about HP/Torque for an 8 second car (street legal not required)? And finally, HP/Torque for 7 sec. car, and I don't need assumptions, I am asking for figures that have been known in drag racing.
