As some of you may know, I have recently had a problem and may have had to sell my cars. I may have just received the answer to the problem and may not have to sell.

Someone my brother knows has an 87 T-Bird that was wrecked and is now being parted out. It has an AOD and the guy wants $100 for it. This would bring my mileage up considerably and would help me financially. Would this 87 AOD work in my 70? If so, what "exactly" needs to be done to fit it in? What type of shifter must be used for the swap?
