So I'm standing and looking at my poor little Maverick yesterday, wondering how much it's going to cost me to get all of those darn trim holes filled (mine came with the "Maverick Protection Package"... front to back). Then it occurs to me, why not just leave the holes there and wire up a set of miniature chasing Christmas lights down each side, sticking the bulbs through the trim holes. Then I could get some neon license frames and do up the interior with a blacklight and a bunch of those stick-on glow-in-the-dark stars. I could have it painted Lime Green and have them mix some phosphorus in with the paint to make it glow in the dark. Of course I'd have to have a disco ball to hang from the rear-view mirror (good thing I already have one), and maybe even a tassel or two hanging here and there. But I can't decide between artificial sheepskin seat covers, or those snazzy clear seat-covers that look like so much bubble-wrap. Maybe both? Anybody else have any ideas for the Stardust Disco Maverick??
By the way... this is just for chuckles, for those of you who may think I've lost my mind.
