: Looks like I am going to be swaping dash boards. My nephew's '73 is not repairable, so I am going to take his dash board and package tray and put into my '74. Any one ever done this? If so, how about some suggestions?

I pulled the dash from my 71 a few years ago, and it's pretty straight forward. The only problem is, there are several screws holding the dash to the windshield (cowl) area that you can only get out if you remove the windshield. They screw in from the top under the gasket, rather than from below. Other than that little quirk, just remove the bracket bolts, unscrew the fuse block from the dash panel, leave all the wiring and switch gear on the dash, unhook any cables for the heater/ac control that run along the dash, and it'll come right out.
