go price for a exhaust system. "H" is a connector pipe for both sides pipes, installed before the mufflers. "X" pipe is the same idea only in a "X" configuration. "X" pipe will cost you more but give you a Little,(VERY) little more HP/TQ. They cost about $150+ just for the "X" pipe. Mainly for street/racing usage. "H" pipe will work fine.

: Hello everyone!
: I am now thinking about getting a new exhaust system for my 73 mav. I called my local performance place and they told me to replace all of my piping from 2 to 2 1/4 all the way back and to change both of the mufflers to Flowmasters with new tips would run me between $250-$300. Does this sound fair? I just do not want to get screwed. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks so much.
: Jeri
