Exhaust question

Hello everyone!
I am now thinking about getting a new exhaust system for my 73 mav. I called my local performance place and they told me to replace all of my piping from 2 to 2 1/4 all the way back and to change both of the mufflers to Flowmasters with new tips would run me between $250-$300. Does this sound fair? I just do not want to get screwed. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks so much.
