I agree with Gypsy Jim. The BOSS 302 is a much stronger motor(HP) than the chevy 302. The 1969 BOSS 302 heads(bigger I-valves than 351C or 70 BOSS) were said to have been the best flowing production heads ever produced for any SB pushrod V8. And if you look at flow carts of any factory pushrod production v8 head even to this day(with the possible exception of the Corvette Z06 head on the exhaust side), the BOSS heads will out flow them. Although the BOSS heads flow well, they hurt performance on the street level until RPM's are brought up or unless you have fuel injection or supercharger.
