I had a rubber brake hose re-done (used old fittings, new rubber) at a radiator shop that did A/C lines... it was for my Versailles rearend and I couldn't find one in town. They said they usually don't do brake lines though because of liability. But it can be done. -CP

: Hi Charlie,
: THanks for the response, but i left something out...it's the rubber brake hose that broke. I spent some tiem looking at it today--the '71 hose that i have just has two ends with two connections, while mine has a chassis mount on one end and a section of metal tubing that then connects to the drum on the other. I'm fairly good at fabricating (read as "hick-rigging") stuff, but this is just way out of my league. I think i'm going to go check out some junkyards tomorrow and see what i can find out about the later brake connections.

: Thanks again, Charlie!
