elec. ig. distributor?

I have a 75 or 76 302 electronic ignition distributor that I want to put in my 70 302. The dist. has 3 wires on it, and I don't know what is what. Can anyone tell me which wire is which and where to connect them? Also, do I need anything other than the dist.? ie. any type of exterior module?
