I am sorry I didnt get back to ya sooner. As far as the idle wandering, this may be caused by a lean fuel mixture. As far as the timing goes, my only suggestion is, you GOTTA find the timing mark on the balancer. With the engine off, go under the car and look at the balancer for the marks, if you don't see them , try turning the motor until you do finally see them, then mark the timing marker(6 degrees advanced for stock, but 8-10 degrees works good) on the balancer with a dab of white or yellow paint(model paint works), then try timing it this way. Because it is hard to help someone time an engine without hearing it , I can't think of anything else for you to do. Now for the headlights, I would say that if your car sits for any length of time , your battery is being drained somehow. One question for you regaurding this situation, how many times can you start then shut off and restart your car before it begins to have trouble starting?
