302 Valve Seals

Can anyone outline the process to replace valve seals on a '71 302. Car smokes when started and clears up after. Replacing the valve seals should correct this condition? What else needs to replaced while the valvetrain is apart. Where is a good place to get these seals?
Any help is appreciated.
