Just a note, you don't have to remove the entire bracket assembly to change pedals, the clutch & brake pedals slip out and the automatic pedal clips in... the brackets are identical except for the small bracket and spring for the stickshift cars, its really easy, you need the shaft and pedal from an automatic car.. check out the illustration below from MaverickGrabber.com

: 1. Is the actuating rod for the master cylinder the same size from a 3 pedal system to a 2 pedal system. I have a '76 mav. that had a 3 spd. in it, converting to a C4. Using a 2 pedal system from a '72 Grabber. Are they the same? I would reuse the rod from the 3 pedal system.
: 2. What all do I need to do to eliminate the shifter linkage from the steering column? Can I gut it out. I heard somewhere that you need to wiring up a switch. What switch, where?
: 3. Is the driveshaft and trans mount. the same?
: Any help to any of these questions is much appreciated. If you've done this conversion, please email me with your experience and tips.
: Thank you!!
