headers hitting sterring arm on 70mav.

bought headers[hookers super comp.] well after taking my old headers out and tring these they hit when you turn wheel to left!!!ran #thru jegs and there for 71 up to77 not 70 ..why ?they didnt change anything from 70to 71 .....but maybe moved arm lower or??? help me?? thanks
