I agree with you on the HP part of Holleys. The problems I usually have with them is the constant need for tuning, and yes mine leaks(at the throttle shaft) and did since new(4 years ago). I live in the desert, the cycles are strange, Hot, Cold back and forth, but when it gets hot or cold , it gets Very hot or cold. Something like 110 one week, then the next week it can be 35(exageration, but you get my drift). I personally can't keep up with it, but the Edlebrock doesn't need so much weather tuning. Although it may not make as much power, it makes it much easier on me, and because I don't have a 13 sec. or faster car, I don't really need the extra power. I want quick and fun, but reliable too(any new carb can be reliable, but some need more tuning than others).
