That is a very rare car. Its probably the most desirable Maverick ever built to original specs. If the car was in good to great shape, I'd be tempted to leave it alone.
However, you say you'd have to 'restore' it to original. It'd probably cost as much or more to make the car look like it came off the showroom floor as it would to make it much better.
I'd at least put a 4 or 5 speed in it and a nicely built V8. You can keep it stock appearing pretty easily. -CP
: Some advice please.I have a 72 Grabber,302 V8,factory A/C,factory 3-speed manual w/floor shifter.Some of my friends say restore,some say modify at least the drive train.How rare is this car really?Would it be worth it to restore to factory original?The VIN#'s are:2X93F188695
