Arnie, If there weren't any problems with the driveshaft and Tranny tail length to begin with why the heck would you fix what aint broke? Anyway the tail length doesn't matter. If after you have the rebuuild done and you think the driveshaft isn't right then just get a custom drive shaft. I personally could, would and do spend my resto money in ways that I think are better but hey it is your cash.
