Okay guys (and gals), I am getting ready to fire up my engine for the first time. Everything went together pretty good and I am just tying up loose ends (finishing B&M shifter, wiring elec. fan & fuel pump, plumbing tranny lines etc.) and have a question for when I do get to start it. What is the best method for adjusting the lifters? My lifters came with my Edelbrock cam and the directions said NOT to pre-fill them with oil.

My heads have the Crane rocker arm conversion kit (convert from non-adjustable valvetrain to adjustable) so I could use roller rockers, so I can't bottom out the nut on the shoulder of the stud like my rebuild manual says.

Thanks in advance,

Brian
