:Headers for a 302 will work simply because the 351W heads are the same exact dimensions. I have had 351W heads on one of my 71 Grabbers for over 20 years and am still running my second set of Casler headers on there. It helps when you have them powder coated. I'm not sure if Casler is still even around as I haven't seen the name in a while but I feel sure there are headers available from Hooker made for a Maverick. I would check there first. Just specify them for a 302. My present Casler headers fit perfect with no bending and are about 12 years old right now.

It should be noted that 302 headers will bolt up to 351W heads with no problem, but there is more to header fitment than bolt pattern. The 351 block is taller and wider, which will probably make 302 application headers hit the shock towers and possbly the cowl or floorboard due to the raised height. There is also clearance issues with the starter, linkages, etc. A great deal of experimentaion would be required, and it would be one good reason to look at the 347 stroker rather than the 351w block for street applications.
