Re-chroming bumpers

My 72 Mav front bumper needs to be re-chromed. The rear bumper should probably be done too, but I have a problem with the prices I've been seeing. A local WI car restoration shop wants $265 each, another place wants $292. I think I saw someone (Roger Mailhiot or Chuck Stalnaker??) can do them for $150 apiece. I'd appreciate any comments or advice. Thanks. Tom (aka Punk6)
