:How much would the compression ratio on a 302 change when changing from a 69cc head to a 66cc head?. With the 69cc head the CR is approximately 8.5:1! There must be some way to calculate that!
...There is. I assume you are talking about a 72-302 being 8.5.
...Dropping down to 66 cc will increase the cr to about 8.8.
...CR calculation involves chamber volume,head gasket volume,piston dish volume, bore size and deck clearence. All measured accuratly before the calculation can be made.
