:I need help here guys. Here is the situation. I dropped the 200 rebuilt long block in pretty simply. A couple of little snags but no biggie. Anyway, the lights work and the starter makes one click and attempt to turn the engine over but NOTHING. I primed the oil pump with a deep socket and thought that I was ready to go. What should I check first and what should I do?

..Mark, do what Earl has sugested first, Then if your still locked up then consider a jamup when bolting the motor against the trans. I'm sure the shop didn't give the block back in that condition. Rings on a newly honed block will drag somewhat but not that much. Could remove the starter to check for lockup there. A pry bar attempt to move the flywheel can be done but don't over do it and break a tooth off. Its going to be found in one of these areas. Luck be with you. Ken
