Pegged one of the things that had happened.. the dipstick being forced out of the tube.. ( I peeked at the archieves and found reply's I'd missed ) so it COULD be a cracked cylindar or rings but FAR from the end of the world that guy had made it out to be. Just to be on the safe side I've been getting different quotes... Amazing price differances.., best I've got so far is $1600 (FULLY warrentied) highest was 2400$ (parts labor and tax, also fully warrenteed for 36 months or 36000...) The Second quote was "Worse case senerio"... that if NOTHING could be saved. Just exploring my options here.
Seriously considering hiring a GUY to get the quotes for me.
Either way, Ground up! Ground Up!!
