Hi all. I'm not re-posting this just for the sake of arguing about it or trying to be a jerk in any way. I just wanted everyone to have some more information about the pinto/m2 rack and IFS. TBR mentioned something about swapping the uprights to make it work. I'm going to assume that you are talking about the spindles, correct me if I'm wrong. Even if you did swap them around, the Maverick crossmember, or lack thereof, will no accomodate a pinto rack without some cosiderable fabrication because of the way it mounts. The shaft from the column to the rack would be somewhat difficult to make with the shock towers in the way. Plus i think you would run into interference with the oil pan as well.
