Well actually, I was around in the 70's. I had a friend whose parents bought one of the first Grabbers around our town. They also bought one of the early Pinto's from the same dealer. My older sister's friend also owned a regular Maverick. The reason I mention that I'm new to the MAverick thing is that I've generally been a Chrysler guy, not that I'm still wet behind the ears. I myself bought a 73 Plymouth "Gold Duster" with the snake roof, new. I've seen very few Gold Dusters, even fewer with the snake roof and none that were the dark brown as mine was. Then some idiot pulled out in front of me... |
