That clears it up. It still sounds like a wheel bearing. Does it make the noies while going down the road and does the pitch change when you hit the brakes? If the brakes arn't involved I would say wheel bearing....get it fixed...go to the local library and get a chiltons...do it your self...or pay $100 extra and have someone else change them. change them in pairs...left/right when you do. There are grease issues too old school vs. new age. You can't mix them or your fix wont last long.....later :What I mean by flipping is that they took the tires off of the front rims, now that the tires are off of the rims lets say that one side is "A" and one side is "B", A is facing the outside of the car (the side that is visible from the street) B is facing inside (the side that you can not see from the street) by flipping them side A is now facing the side the you can not see from the street and side B is now facing the side that you can see from the street. I hope that this clears things up.
