Wesley; cheer up! I think you have two problems that are giving you a fit. First, the leaks are probably the trans lines at the top of the transmission. They are a bear to tighten in the car, but it can be done. Leaks more under power because the pump is moving the fluid under pressure. The shift problem may just be the shift linkage needing an adjustment. If you can get it to a good mechanic, I am sure this can be fixed for not much money. Also, check the fluid and see if it has metal flakes or a milky appearance to it. That would indicate a bigger problem. Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.
