Check out page 78 of the August Car Craft. It has a pic of Dyno Don Nicholson's 427 SOHC Maverick that he raced in 1971. All it really shows is the engine. Look closely, the car appears to still have the shock towers intack. My question is then, why can't we squeeze in something bigger than a 351 without doing away with the towers and installing a Mustang II front suspension ? |
