I followed some links from this site and saw some picts of the Mexican Shelby Maverick, it had a front spoiler on it. From what you said that is the only one that came stock?

About the big block thing; Am I correct in assuming that the Maverick is the same "platform" as the '67-'69 Mustang? Are the basic engine compartment dimentions and unibody structure identical. By just looking it appears to be the same design as the series started with the '60 Falcon and carried through the '70 Mustang and into the '70's with the Falcon and Maverick. This platform was progressively updated in '67 on the Mustang and Falcon, but completely changed on the '71 Mustang.

I guess my point is will all the Mustang big block stuff bolt one into a Maverick in a factory style installation? How about the suspension points? (will BB Mustang stuff bolt up?).
