:Ok I change my fluides and flushe the system to the best of my abilat a few weeks ago and still I'm getting crappy heat!! One day it will be NICE and very hot, and the next day you might as well have the window down...The car is a 1975 ford mav. 4dr. with a 250 I-6 with a/c and power breaks and stearing. My vac. lines that go in the back of the a/c pannal are rigged some way that the air comes out the center vents I have Quick access to all the vac. lines I know that the black tube provides the vaccum, but what do I need to hook it to for heat??? and what else may I have worng or brocken or going out???

You should check your heater control valve. That often is the culprit for heat problems. Also, especially with winter coming (boo, hiss) how old is your thermostat? It is possible that it could be sticking intermittantly open and not allowing the coolant to get to the proper temperature. It wouldn't be unreasonable or expensive to flush out the cooling system, replace the thermostat and refill with 50/50 coolant. If that doesn't work, all that's left is the heater control valve or the heater core itself (probably not after a flush, but you never know). Again, start simple.

:PLEASE HELP!!!!
