:Well With my car the a/c doen't work ither
:If you were to sit in your mave right now, you are able to look at the controll pannal, remove the face plate carefully (I busted mine so be care full it doesn't come out to nice) and remove the screws no that that is loose (the leaver box ect.) you are able to push it back and turn it around to be able to look at the vac. lines make sure and see if the vac. lins are on the leaver box, also make sure on the other side of the bake that the cable is on the hook that makes the heater door open and shut, oops sorry if you were to push the leaver back and to the left you will see eletric hook ups, go futher and look behind it and there should be the lines, no if you push it back and to the right you will see the cable, and the leaver, make sure all this is hooked up,
:-another note, if were you vac. line hook up to the leaver box is plastic, it may leek, you will need to find a earlyer one that is metal,
:-WOW I hope this helps you out, if you need any more hlep just post it

Just like I've been working with Jason on his heat, or lack of heat, problem, it's a process of elimination. The same goes for why the ducts won't change for the defrost. Always start simple and progress to the complicated. You've already been told the possible culprits for the defrost. For the lack of heat, it could be thermostat stuck open, clogged lines or core, heater control valve inoperative, bad core. If you replaced the thermostat, the next likely culprit may be the heater control valve, inline in your heater hose near the firewall. These aren't fixed, but replaced. If you replace it, make sure you DO NOT reverse the vacuum lines. You should be able to get a replacement without much trouble, though don't be surprised if you have to wait a couple of days as it probably isn't a stock item at the parts store.
