Is there anything else i should know of? . .You need to settle on the attachment nuts inside the door. With door panels removed; .The first screw is 12-1/2" from the front of the door with the mirror base rubber pad at the door's upper ledge. .Inside the hole is 2-1/2" down from top at window ledge and 5-1/4 back from the rounded inner door surface measured horzontally, as measured from my 73 GT. ..Not having the two models of mirors to compare, the base angle could be somewhat different from model to model and year, but still would be a source of parts for repair. The mirror control assembly and the cable assembly can't be seperated. .Auto accessory stores also carry this style of sport mirrior in chromed plastic but are not a remote. Their base will be adjustable for angle. Ken
