Torque Converter Studs

(FMX tranny) :1). Any idea what the four studs on the torque converter are? 3/8-16 (coarse), 3/8-24 (fine) or possibly metric? :2). Are the studs replaceable? How are they attatched? (FMX tranny) :I've got two different nuts--neither thread without difficulty. :Thanks! -Doug
