:Thanks, guys! Looks like its 3/8-24 all right. I'll run a die back over the studs so I can put some new nuts on them. One stud, however, looks pretty bad. We'll see. Apparently someone forced 3/8-16's on to the studs. I discovered this problem when it sounded like the flexplate was hitting something when rotating. Now I know why:

:Looks like the drain plug on the converter is located behind the flexplate weight, and not lined up with one of the clearance holes in the flexplate. In order to mount the flexplate flush on the converter, I'll have to index the flexplate 90 degrees. I assume there is only one drain plug on the FMX converter. Right? -Doug
