Yeah, I stumbled across an article somewhere that talked about installing an integrated spoiler. Comets never had that either, right? Is there any reason why one couldn't be retrofit to a Comet. There isn't anything different about the rear panel that would make it interfere with the holes that need to be drilled for the integrated spoiler or anything is there? So, the pedestal spoiler was never offered as an option then? Too bad it wasn't, I really like the look of it. Not sure how my Dad wound up with one on his Comet - afterall, Newfoundland isn't exactly known as a motor sports place where add-ons are a regular occurance. My Dad was not one for frivilous add-ons (accountant). Just to be certain we are on the same wavelength regarding what I mean by a pedestal mount spoiler i've attached a photo I picked up on the weeb somewhere. I realize this is a Maverick but I am like 100% certain my dad's Comet had the same spoiler (or very close).
