Just curious - would a pedestal mount wing off a Mustang of that vintage work or would it be too wide (i.e. stick out past the fenders)?

Sorry, not having either car in front of me I don't have a feel for relative sizes.

I'm toying with the idea of getting myself a Comet GT and doing a "Shelby-esque" road racer restomod to it. If anyone wants to trade a complete, restorable Comet GT for a 1988 Subaru XT-6 and parts car drop me a line.

Charlie, those Torque Thrusts look fabulous on your car. Are they 15" or 17"? Width? What's the largest tire that can be run without fender mods anyway?
