Would this work for my situation as well? : :Mark, with a c4 the Tv cable now becomes your kick down. ..You need to bend up an L bracket to mount on the bell housing and aligned with the trans kick down lever. The kick down lever needs to be replaced and a new one made in a special way. This lever has to have a second swing lever because the TV cable moves with the throttle so it only operates the trans kick down near wide open throttle. The second lever should have an adjustable stop so it can be dialed in. I should make a drawing with demensions because this may be difficult to visualize. ..Said another way, the kickdown lever is cut down and a flat arm is welded on. Then a SECOND LEVER is attached with a bolt and self locking not that is tightened to allow that arm to swing. This arm then has an adjustable stop applied. This stop is the point that kickdown occurrs. You now are able to adjust from both ends. The TV cable is then attached to this swinging arm. If you need more help on this e-mail me and wil go from there. Or you can choose not to use the kickdown feature. Only the AOD requires the TV cable. Ken |
