As a matter of fact, My very first car was a 2dr 1970 Maverick built in oct 1969 that I bought from my sister at age 15 way way back in 1978. The passenger door pillar was rusted so baddly that I had the door wired shut. Incidentally, It had manual steering and in the two years I drove it before junking it, It never gave me any grief. If you are having that sort of difficulty with your manual steering Mav, perhaps you have something wrong. Maybe an alignment problem, or it could even be the result of a ball joint and or a tie rod socked down too tightly!! Just a thought. And by the way Craig, Did you get my mail today??
