The magnetic signs retain water if they would be left on over time (winter storage) the metal under the magnet will start to rust. I've seen it happen on magnetic truck signs. Might be a good temp fix for getting caught in a down pour. Just a thought. Russ PS Where does the water from the windshield end up? Doesn't it go into the cowl also?
