A few days ago Mike McMaverick started a thread re: cowl covers. I was flipping thru come old magazines and found something in the May01 Mustang Monthly. Called a magnetic cowl protector, it "lies atop the factory cowl vent opening, sealing out water and debris to minimize the chance of cowl leaks or future damage after repairing the cowl areas." Available from Jake's Mustangs, Dept MM, (860) 674-0584. Anyone out there know if a Maverick cowl vent is the same size as a Mustang's? Tom p.s. By the looks of the picture, it appears to be refrigerator magnet material. It's hard to tell the color from a b/w picture, but it looks chrome to me.
