:I have also tried another cap. I have a stock aluminum 289 type :water pump and a 4 row radiator. The engine has a Moroso :4" underdrive pulley On the harmonic balancer. When you rev the engine ,or "get on it" while driving it will push coolant out of the radiator cap. Sounds as if maybe u have a weak radiator hose that is collapsing. Warm the engine to operating temerature in the drive, and rev the engine and look for this. Likewise, at this point, its gonna be good to make certain that you dont have any water/coolant in the oil or dripping from the exhaust!! A hard uneven miss in the engine at idle might also indicate further probs!! |
