Okies, i am getting it now  install the duels, get the gears changed and maybe install the 2200 convertor, manifold and carb for now... then get a shortblock and stuff it with forged pistons to make a 9.5 to 10.0 compression and a desent cam. Whats a fair price for a short block outta the bone yard? i am assuming i will need to get the block dipped, bored, decked ect ect... what am i looking at for price? and can i use the stock crank and rods and just add pistons? Back in the days i built my trans am we just honed the bores and added new pistons and rings, the engine turned out decent.
