An AOD from 89 up is the best ones, don't get a AODE, their electronic. The important part as stated earlier, is the TV adjustment. not hard but very important. If you can find a earlier 82-85 AOD/carb vehicle for parts you can get the TV rod which works great using a Holley carb Ford kick down linkage as your TV setup. Windsor Fox makes a cable but it looks, to me, cheesy. The tougher AODs are in vans and trucks with 302 or 351Ws. I also use a B&M shifter.
