:converter and flywheel out of a 81 Thunder Bird. The 302 came out of my sons 77............then you have 50oz of external balance (the flexplate) on an engine that needs just 28oz of external balance!!
:Correct? Or is it 1982 that the balance was changed? I think that the balance changed in 82. I conpaired the balance weights of the two before I installed the T birds flex plate and they looked the same. and had no vibration. The other thing is the motor that came out of the 77 was a 79 out of a wrecked merc. |
