- I know Craig is sorry to see it go, but I'm sure glad to be the new owner. Now I've got to put my 72 put back together and get it on the market. My garage is big, but 4 cars is a little much.
Yes, I want to make next year's round-up, either drive the approx 450 miles or get a truck and trailer. :Before I sold the Maverick....I had 8 cars. Now I am down to 7. I still have 3 other Mavericks....two parts cars and the orange 72 I am working on. : :It just came down to where I can't just keep them all. You can only drive one at a time...and trying to keep up on all the maintance on them is overwhelming. I thought I would pass my joy onto somebody else to enjoy. My garage only holds so much...so something had to give. I have no regrets...looking forward to getting the other one on the road. : : :_________________________________________________________ : ::Why would you put some much time and money into something and make it look that great and sell it? I know that most of the fun is building it, but then you should keep it, as a trophy of your accomplishment. Like all these older street rods I see for sale. Why sell them after they are done. If it is your job and you make money at then fine but, I don't know. I could never sell my Maverick, or my 70 F-100, or my 50 Tudor. These cars are part of me, well the Maverick is part of me, the other ones not so much. If it came down to eating or selling my maverick I would starve. Maybe I like my Maverick too much. |
